Kawasaki Other description

The time has come earlier than anticipated to part with my H2.
I've not gotten the chance to ride her yet and now that I am selling her, I probably won't.
I've recently finished a 3+ year restoration and rolled her off the assembly table just this morning to take pictures.
If you've ever restored a vehicle, you know that at this moment, shes as perfect and clean as it can be.
ALL components have been meticulously restored to new or better condition.
Completely rebuilt engine: Crank, pistons, bearings, seals, gaskets, etc.
All hardware has been replated or replaced.
All paint work duplicates the factory paint work.
Everything works as designed.
Starts first kick after the initial start.
Transmission shifts perfectly. Professionally shimmed, all new bearings.
All the gauges are correct and work as original. All new cables.
All electrical: Lights, horn, blinkers, gauge lights, indicators: work as original.

The only deviations from original are updated slotted connecting rods; improved oiling.
An updated ball bearing clutch release mechanism (nos). Easier clutch pull
Ivan's carburetor kit (all additional jets included in the sale)

The entire build has been documented and pictures of any phase are available for review.
I have numerous additional parts including a set of chambers and a perfectly good crank that will be included with the sale.

I'm sure I'm leaving out details that someone wants to know so:
Please email me with any questions or requests for addition photos or details.

I reserve the right to end the listing early as the bike is also listed locally.
Shipping is solely the responsibility of the buyer.
Discuss it with me. I will help in any way I can.

Kawasaki Z250 SL Launched In Asia

Wed, 30 Apr 2014

Kawasaki, today, launched the long-awaited streetfighter version of the Ninja 250 in Asia. Dubbed the Z250 SL (Super Lightweight), some may call it the baby Z1000. That nickname, while fitting, is already reserved for the standard Z250, which draws a middle ground in terms of riding position (and amount of plastic) between the Z250 SL and the supersport Ninja 250.  Designed for the sports-minded urban commuter, Kawasaki heralds this lighter, racier alternative to the Z250 as the perfect companion for someone looking for Ninja-based performance, quick, nimble handling, and aggressive ergonomics.

FIM Releases New WSBK Rules – Updates Include Pitstops, Weight Limits and Headlight Decals

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

The International Motorcycling Federation and the Superbike Racing Commission released a number of amendments to the 2013 World Superbike Championship rulebook including pitstops, fake headlights and a revised starting grid alignment. We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report

Mon, 13 May 2013

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
