AN ORIGINAL 1976 KD100 MINI. GREAT LITTLE SURVIVOR. ITS PRETTY FAST FOR A MINI. STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS GREAT. I WOULD SAY BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THIS BIKE HAS NOT BEEN SITTING AROUND SO IT HAS TYPICALL WEAR IN TEAR FOR A 40 YEAR OLD BIKE. SOME PITTING ON THE FORKS, SCRATCHES ON TANK AND SEAT IS STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE. I HAVEN'T DONE ANY WORK OR MODIFICATIONS TO THIS BIKE OTHER THAN ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. . IM SECOND OWNER. THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SEE THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN REPLACED IS THE PITCOCK. Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
