1976 Kawasaki KZ 900 with only 11,000 original miles, this bike has spent its life tucked away here in Northern Maine. Wrapped in a Vetter Windjammer fairing until this summer, the bike has always been ridden gently, the 2nd owner parked it in 06, It had new tires put on that year and was ridden less than 200miles, I put a new battery in this year along with a new fuel petcock, the bike starts and runs on all 4 cyl, but should have a full service including oil change, plugs, fuel lines and carbs cleaned before hitting the road, the chrome is really nice, but the original paint is baked..... it should be redone but can be ridden as is if you so choose. the seat also has a couple age splits....comes with period correct crashbars and sissybar ... and under the seat is the original tool kit and rear tray with the original owners manual...overall this bike is in great condition....

Maine does not title anything built before 1995 so the bike will have a Transferable Registrations and Bill of Sale thats good in all 50 states for transfer of ownership, and will work for our overseas buyers as well. If you have a question you can ask here, or

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Bryan Smith edged out Kenny Coolbeth Jr. by a mere 0.041 seconds to win the AMA Pro Flat Track Experts Twins race at the Springfield Mile. The ten laps of the race saw Smith and his Kawasaki battling for the lead with Coolbeth and Jake Johnson and Jared Mees sitting close behind waiting for an opening.
