I AM SELLING MY ORIGINAL 1977 KAWASAKI KZ650, FOR NO RESERVE! THIS IS MY 1977 SILVER KAWASAKI KZ650, THAT RUNS WELL. THE BIKE HAS ONLY 10,000 ORIGINAL MILES AND IS #408 PRODUCED. THE BIKE WAS JUST SERVICED, BRAND NEW BATTERY, OIL CHANGE, NEW CLUTCH CABLE, THE VALVES WERE ADJUSTED AND THE CARBS WERE SERVICED. ETC. ALL THE SERVICE WORK WAS JUST COMPLETED, SO YOU DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. THE BIKE STARTS EASILY AND IDLES WELL. THE SECOND OWNER, IN 2010, HAD MATCHING ,METZLER TIRES INSTALLED AND NEVER USED THE BIKE. I BOUGHT THE BIKE IN 2016 AND HAD THE BIKE MADE "ROAD READY", BY A MOTORCYCLE SHOP. THE BIKE WAS SERVICED AND CHECKED. ALL BRAKES WORK ETC. THE BIKE COMES WITH A OPEN AND CLEAR MASSACHUSETTS TITLE, JUST LIKE I GOT IT. I WISH TO SIMPLY PASS THIS ALONG TO THE BUYER. OPEN AND CLEAR MASSACHUSETTS TITLE AND BILL OF SALE COMES WITH THIS BIKE. THE BIKE HAS A NICE AND CLEAN ORIGINAL PAINT GAS TANK. THE BIKE HAS SOME CHROME FLAKE OFF ON THE MUFFLERS. THE ORIGINAL SEAT HAS SOME TEARS , RIPS, ETC. WONDERFUL SEAT PAN AND UNDER SEAT AREA! THE SIDE COVERS ARE WORN, THEY ARE WORN, HEAVY CHECKERING IN FINISH. THE TAIL PAINT IS CHECKERED ETC. New 1972 Kawasaki Z1 only £720
Fri, 29 Jun 2012Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
2013 Kawasaki KX Motocross Bikes Revealed – Air Forks for KX450F!
Wed, 23 May 2012Kawasaki has unveiled its 2013 KX series motocross bikes. Both models receive updates for 2013 but perhaps the biggest change is the new pneumatic fork on the KX450F. The KX450F has done well for Kawasaki, thanks to Ryan Villopoto’s 2011 and 2012 AMA Supercross and 2011 AMA Motocross championships.
Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Kawasaki is marking the 40th anniversary of its KX dirt bike lineup with a special web page and a new documentary (look for Part 1 below). The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
