2000 Kawasaki W 650, Rare 2000 model year W650 in good condition. 17200 miles. Always garaged. I'm the second owner, and have only put about 2000 miles on it since I bought it 5 years ago. Love the bike, and it makes me happy every time I get on it, but I just don't ride enough to justify keeping it around. Cosmetically it looks great. Good chrome, no scuffs or tears on the seat, etc. The only cosmetic issue is that the first owner scratched the tank on the left side. He repainted the blue section and it's a perfect color match to the right side, but doesn't have the same glossy clear coat finish. You can't detect it in pictures, and it's not even obvious in person, but I wanted to point it out. Mechanically, everything works as it should. Recent carb overhaul and new battery. Starts easily and runs well with both electric start and kick start. Comes with removable after market windshield and shop manual. Many more pics available. Cash or cashiers check only. From custom café racers to beautifully restored Bridgestone motorcycles, a full range of motorcycling interests will be represented at BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Indian Motorcycle, July 11-13 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Classic Clubs that will be located on Championship Row include the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, Louisville Vintage Motorworks, Café Racer magazine and Bridgestone Motorcycle Club. The Club Corral, across from Championship Row, will include the Indian 4 Cylinder Club, the Kawasaki ZL Owners Association and the Cincinnati Classic British Motorcycle Owners.

2013 Ninjas in New York

In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Villopoto to Miss 2012 AMA Motocross Season

Reigning champion Ryan Villopoto will not compete in the 2012 AMA Motocross Championship after injuring his knee at the recent Supercross race in Seattle, Wash. Villopoto has won the last three indoor and outdoor championships, capturing the 2011 AMA Motocross title as well as the 2011 and 2012 AMA Supercross titles. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider will not be able to stretch that run into a fourth consecutive title.
