The Kawasaki ZR-7 (and ZR-7S), (ZR750-H1 through ZR750-H5) is a motorcycle manufactured by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki. It was sold in the United States from 1999 through 2003, and sold in a few other countries through the 2005 model year. The major differences between the ZR-7 and the ZR-7S models were the "S" model's fairing and associated headlight and instrument cluster, and stiffer fork springs. Both models are powered by an inline 4-cylinder 4-stroke, double-overhead-cam DOHC air-and-oil-cooled 738 cc engine developing 76 bhp (57 kW) and 46.5 lbf??ft (63 N??m) of torque. Carburetors are four constant-velocity (CV) Keihin CVK 32 mm. Final drive is via chain; the transmission is a 5-speed (equipped with positive neutral finder) coupled with a wet clutch. Seat height is 31.5 inches (800 mm). The ZR-7S has an advertised dry weight of 463 lb (210 kg). The ZR-7 has a wet weight of 509 lb (231 kg).

Making this accomplishment more noteworthy is the fact that Matt is a paraplegic – he was hit by a car several years ago while riding his motorcycle.
Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans
Wed, 09 May 2012NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
Kawasaki a Winner at New York Festivals World’s Best Television & Film Awards
Wed, 10 Apr 2013Kawasaki received four awards including gold medals for Best Venue and Best Cinematography at the New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards for ads featuring the Ninja ZX-6R (636) and the Z800. The New York Festivals have been celebrating the best in television and films for 55 years. This year’s awards, announced at the National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas, awarded 119 gold medals, 145 silver medals, 10 bronze medals and 327 finalist certificates for entries representing 50 different countries.
