Kawasaki Other description

Ok First off there is no title for this motorcycle and has no records of the last time it was registered. If you buy it It it sold AS-IS Condition I will describe below in exact condition.  If for any reason you are unhappy contact us to work it out. We look forward to doing business with an honest buyer as we are honest sellers. Please understand Ebay feedback and detailed seller rating is so important for us small sellers so clear communication is a must. Thank you for viewing.

Up for sale is a Kawasaki Triple Legend the small baby triple 350cc. I am not sure of the year but I believe 1973 is the year as it has disk brakes up front. This bike needs a restore but as you can see it is in good  condition considering its age. It would not take much to overhaul the brakes and carburetors and other odds and ends to make it road worthy in its current condition. It has surface rust throughout the bike but so minimal compared to most bikes of this era. A really good start for a two stroke power beast. These 350s were quick under 80 mph so much powerband. Nice to have that 2 stroke power and a light frame. Not a death machine like the 500 and 750 triples, Still dangerous power wheelies all day even on a 350. So this Kawasaki is not complete but darn close. The gold body kit is off a 250 Kawasaki Triple and is the same shape but the gold is only available on the 250 (S1).

Air-box parts see pictures

Damaged Parts
Bent right headlight ear.
Bent right foot peg
Bent right brake lever
Cracked oil pumper cover
Cut License plate bracket
Small rip in non original seat cover.
Bent gear selector
Key is there but on its last life.
Cracked tail light.
One float was broken I JB welded it back together for a temporary fix.
Ok so it looks as if the S2 was dropped over on its right. The bike is straight so must have been a parking accident. Gas tank is dirty and rusty needs metal rescue the only product so easy to use. Motor kicks over strong and smooth. The carbs have been pulled off disassembled and partially cleaned. They were dirty and have some deep pock marks from stale fuel. I have had carbs  like this and usually they still work fine. I believe some shops car repair them if needed or desired. The float bowls are untouched so you can see how dirty the carburetors were. I have almost all carburetors parts just missing one throttle cable retainer the one into the slide that locks cable into slide. I can include it if one from my rd350 works I delete this after I check... I also have a bag of parts for carbs I forgot to picture they are the threaded cable end housings and choke plungers/springs.

Parts Uninstalled
Choke cable
throttle cables
Carburetor rebuild Kit NEW
Petcock rebuild Kit NEW
Original handle bars!
Throttle grip assembly

A great project I really love old two strokes and the only reason I am selling as I have Rd350 cafe racer and I don't want to ruin this beauty by riding like I stole it. .... I prefer buyer to arrange shipping as I can adjust my scheduled to yours. Ive been told by an independent shipper that you can ship it anywhere in lower 48 USA states for Under $350, so use one of those websites where they bid on shipping for the best value I picture document all the motorcycles and there condition up until the bike is in the shipping truck. Call Me if you like (916) 276-9832 Text is Fine...

These bikes are my absolute favorite part of  motorcycle history and I will miss it. Ask any questions needed thank you.

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
