I am Selling my 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 750cc because I really don't ride anymore. It needs nothing other then some minor carb adjustments from lack of use. Still runs and drives as is. A bore of 3.34ins, a stroke of 2.61 ins, and a compression ratio of 10.3:1 produces a total displacement of 749 cc and an engine Displacement to weight ratio of 1.55 cc. The engine is started electronically and is powered by 2 Keihin carburetors. It is controlled by a 5 gear manual transmission. The primary drive is shaft operated.ChassisThe 750 Vulcan chassis is fitted with a telescoping fork front-suspension with 2 front-caliper pistons and 5.9-inch travel, and a twin-sided swing arm rear suspension with 2 shock absorbers and 3.5-inch travel. Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
