Kawasaki Vulcan description

2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad Fi, Awesome sound system! Great riding bike! - If you like having your tunes while you ride this is the one for you! This bike has a great sound system with 3 Kicker amps and 12 speakers. This bike is in nice condition for the year model and mileage. The miles showing on the odometer are not correct because the speedometer has been replaced. The original odometer had about 19,000 miles and the new speedometer has 4500 miles so the bike has a total or 23,500 miles. Combining both comfort and good looks, the 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad Fi V-twin touring cruiser represents the continuing evolution of the company’s Vulcan line. The Nomad’s elegant styling, comfortable touring package and performance-oriented features such as digital fuel injection demonstrate that this motorcycle is more than just another cruiser. After earning “Cruiser of the Year” status from Cruising Rider magazine in 2000, the Nomad Fi was updated with a larger five-gallon fuel tank for greater touring range, an electronic speedometer and a repositioned steering lock. The result is an upscale yet traditional custom-style cruiser that comes in rich, two-tone paint schemes with copious amounts of chrome.

2013 Kawasaki Z800 Announced but US Availability Unlikely

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Kawasaki announced it will produce a new mid-sized naked streetfigther: the Z800. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look likely the Z800 will be imported to the U.S., but we’ll have to wait for an official word from Kawasaki. The 2013 Kawasaki Z800 is powered by an 806cc inline-four engine with styling inspired by its larger sibling, the Z1000.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Salt Lake City Results

Tue, 01 May 2012

Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.
