Kawasaki Vulcan description

Very clean bike!

This bike has been accessorized to be a fully functional touring bike.  Only reason it is being sold is because current owner is getting a little old and has bad knees and is retiring from riding.

Accessories on the bike are:

  • Memphis shades
  • Batwing fairing with trigger lock mount
  • Calvary fiberglass hard locking saddle bags
  • Hard locking trunk
  • Chrome trunk rack
  • JMCB Driver/Passenger CB/Stereo/Intercom system
  • Ipod Hookups
  • Phase 7 LED High intensity motorcycle headlight
  • LED foglights
  • Front and rear crash/highway bars
  • Electronic Cruise control
  • Heated seat
  • ISO Highway Pegs
  • Rivco LED turn signal mirrors
  • Driver Utopia backrest
  • Riser bar
  • ISO Grips
  • AM/FM  All weather radio and speakers

Bike is well maintained.  It has a new drive belt, like new tires and recently serviced.  This bike has electronic fuel injection and a liquid cooled motor.  It is equipped with a backup cooling fan if you happen to be sitting in traffic.  It also has a trip-o-meter and fuel gauge.

Once all accessories are included this bike is valued at more than $9,000 by Kelly Blue Book.  Will sell for much less though.

Buyer is responsible for all arrangements for pickup.  Please contact 701-710-0355.

After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.

Go camping with your bike

Keep your bike close to you when you go camping with the MOTOTENT from motorcycle adventurers Lone Rider. Priced at £450, here's a round-up of the features from Lone Rider: The MOTOTENT is spacious enough to shelter a dual sport bike as big a BMW R1200 GSA with all its luggage, to have room to work on it, and to be able to stand in the tent. The tunnel-shaped design allows a very quick setup of the tent when needed.

Left Side Story: A Double-Amputee Keeps His Racing Dreams Alive – Video

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

Australian rider Alan Kempster lost his right arm and leg in 1990 when an intoxicated truck driver crashed into his motorcycle. The accident changed Kempster’s life, but what it did not do was dampen his spirit and his love of racing. The determined Kempster rigged a racebike and returned to the track, not only competing against abled riders, but also winning.
