Kawasaki Vulcan description

This 2013 Kawasaki Voyager 1700 ABS does it all.

With a great retro style and modern amenities you can go across country or cross town.

It's the Ultimate Tourer and a Cool Cruiser. Enjoy

It has plenty of style and rides as good as it looks.

Has a retro look sort of like a Harley Roadliner in my opinion.

And it's LOADED with features.

AM/FM radio

Handlebar Radio Controls

Front & Rear Speakers (Marine)

6 Speed Transmission (with overdrive)

Electronic Cruise Control

Rider Running Boards

Passenger Running Boards

Extra Front Running Lights

ABS BRAKES & K-ACT (EITHER BRAKE ACTUATES BOTH)

RIDER HEAT DISSIPATION FANS (KEEPS ENGINE HEAT AWAY)..A GREAT FEATURE

Sumptuous Seating for Rider and Passenger

Bunches of Luggage Space

Great Sound & Feel

Air Controlled Suspension

Thunder Charged High Performance Air Cleaner

...........................SO MUCH MORE............................

The Kawasaki 1700 Vulcan Voyager came out in 2009.

People loved the bike but just like most big V-Twins the biggest complaint was the engine heat that came up and almost "melted" the rider.

In 2012 and later models, Kawasaki came up with an ingenious method through vents and a fan to direct the hot air away from the rider.

AND IT WORKS GREAT.

**REMEMBER THIS WASN'T AVAILABLE BEFORE 2012**

If the engine gets hot enough for the main radiator fan to come on, the rider assist fan also kicks on at the same time and it REALLY WORKS.

The ABS and the K-Act systems are fabulous too.

When you use the rear brake pedal it actuates both the front and rear brakes.

And likewise for the front brakes...it actuates the rear.

And the ABS keeps things from getting out of control. AWESOME SYSTEM

Tires are in great shape front and rear with plenty of tread. Recently replaced.

Also the bike just recently turned 10000 miles.

So it's barely broken in. Bunches of miles and smiles left on this beauty.

The color of the bike is a breathtaking Pearl White and Pearl Silver Combination....

With this incredible chrome and paint..this bike is beautiful.

Nice sound system with 4 surround speakers.

Marine speakers by the way to they're pretty water resistant.

Comfy Seats front and rear.

The engine is has plenty of nice torque and matched to its 6 speed transmission.

She'll do whatever you need her to do.

Comfort is of high level with an air adjustable rear suspension.

She tracks great and takes the curves with a feeling that will keep you confident.

Low seating height. I only have a 28" inseam and

I can firmly plant my feet on the ground.

She's a big heavy bike but once moving she belies her size and weight.

Easy to handle.

Plenty of storage space.

The rear tour pack holds 2 full size helmets.

Of course it and the 2 side bags are lockable for security.

It has 2 small compartments in the front for small things; wallets, cellphones, etc.

And of course they are lockable too.

It has the perfect height windshield (shorter than stock)

and great running lights in front for safety.

This truly is a lot of bike and value for the money.

As equipped she would be close to $20,000 Brand New.

I am selling this beautiful bike for a very affordable price of only

 $10599 obo

The bike is located in el paso, TX. and as usual

I can be reached at 915*276*1505

Fly into the El Paso International airport where I will pick you up

and you can ride her home.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
