This is the largest displacement engine ever built by MV Agusta and delivers a maximum power of 106 kW (144 hp) at 10.300 rpm. The 1078 cc unit is combined with an Electronic Engine Control Unit which has been programmed with a mapping and offers 8 levels of traction control that can be selected by the rider. To offer a proper grip regardless of the road conditions, the Brutale R 1090 is equipped with front 120/70 - ZR 17 and rear 190/55 - ZR 17 tires. The success of the new generation of Brutale is in the spotlight due to its unmistakable design, advanced technology and exceptional performance. MV Agusta Brutale, a bike that has not only set the standard in the motorcycle market for excellence, but it has also become an authentic commercial success. 2014 MV Agusta Brutale, F3 and Rivale Models Recalled for Loose Swingarms

MV Agusta is recalling several 2014 motorcycles because of a defect in the screw securing the swingarm pin. The recall affects 223 units of the Brutale 1090 RR (Corsa edition), Brutale 800, Brutale 675, F3 675, F3 800 and Rivale manufactured between Dec. 18, 2013 and March 10, 2014.
