MV Agusta F4 750 description
This MV Agusta F4 Serie Oro, # 293 of a run limited to 300 units, was sourced from Holland in 2003 by the original owner who took care of it through mid-2016. It was never started and graced his office for 13 years. The mirrors, which come with the bike, were never installed. The bike has never been registered and thus comes with a Manufacturer Statement of Origin, all the rest of the paperwork, tools, etc. It remains in literally as new condition and because it was stored properly – usually covered - it should require only the usual safety checks should a buyer wish to run it up. The Serie Oro models were built to mark the 1998 re-launch of the MV Agusta brand – the F4 was created by Massimo Tamburini, designer of Ducati’s iconic 916, at the Cagiva Research Center (CRC) - and although they were priced at twice that of the standard F4 Strada every single one had been sold prior to delivery, such was the demand. Many parts such as the swingarm, frame side plates and wheels were made from magnesium (protective coated in a gold color). All painted parts, such as the fairing, seat cover, front fender and even the fuel tank and air box are made of carbon. It was only by using these materials that the dry weight could be kept under 400lb. The custom-for-MV Showa fork has quick release axle clamps and the 6-piston (front) and 4-piston (rear) brake calipers are made by Nissin. A new Serie Oro can never be repeated and rarely do they ever come into the market. On Sep-16-16 at 07:17:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The mirrors come with the bike. |
