MV Agusta Other description

I have owned this 1955 MV AGUSTA CS 175 for more than 20 years. It has been part of my collection of Italian motorcycles in Los Angeles and has won numerous prizes. Best Italian, Best of Show, Best European, People's Choice etc,. It was nicely restored 20 years ago but it is no longer in 100 point concours condition.  There is a broken fin (repairable) on the cyl head (see photo), some of the chrome has some light fading and the left tool box has a slight variation in color after being scratched.

The bike is in good running and riding condition and still extremely presentable. Speedo reads 13324 kms (approx. 8275 miles).

Clear California title in my name./

You are welcome to visit in Tarzana (San Fernando Valley part of Los Angeles). Please call 818 705 8655.

One-Off Ferrari Tribute Motorcycle Sold for $137,700

Wed, 02 May 2012

A one-off officially-endorsed Ferrari motorcycle has been sold at auction, taking in 85,000 British pounds (US$137,700). That’s a hefty sum for a motorcycle, but far less from the initial reserve price of 180,000 pounds asked for when the bike was first up for auction in 2008. The Ferrari motorcycle was designed and built by former MV Agusta engineer David Kay in 1995 as a tribute to the Italian car-maker’s founder, Enzo Ferrari.
