Moto Guzzi 850 T/T3 description

This is a two owner bike. I bought it a year ago from the original owner who performed many upgrades through the years that he owned it. I have all receipts and records of the work done. Since I have owned it I have performed a mild Café conversion resulting in what you see here. Following is a list of the modifications:

1. Dual disc front brakes, braided steel brake lines.

2. T3 swing arm (chromed) rear wheel hub and disc brake conversion (master cyl. mounted inside right tool box)

3. Engine: Lemans cam, timing gears, lightened and balanced flywheel, Dyna ignition, Lemans crank breather.

4.Lemans repro tank from MG Cycles.

4. V7 Sport seat pan w/ new foam and cover by Sargent's

5. V7 Sport rear fender and thumb knobs.

6. SP 1000 handlebars and new switches from MG Cycles.

7. The swing arm, lower frame rails, headlight bucket and ring are chromed. upper and lower triple clamps and fork sliders are powder coated. fork tubes are by Franks.

8. Fac dampers and Wirth spring in the forks and new Ikon shocks on rear.

There are many other bits and pieces which all add up to a reliable strong running and stunning, IMHO, classic Guzzi that needs nothing but a new home.

The bike is sold as is though you won't be disappointed. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder though I will assist as best I can. Bike can be picked up at my commercial address which usually saves some.

Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of close of auction to arrange payment which is to be in the form of cash in person or certified check. Funds must clear before bike will be released.

Piaggio Multimedia Platform iPhone Connectivity Announced for Piaggio X10 Maxi-Scooter

Thu, 05 Jul 2012

Piaggio announced a new iPhone connectivity system set to debut on its new X10 maxi-scooter. The Piaggio Multimedia Platform (PMP) will be available as a kit for the 125cc, 350cc and 500cc versions of the Piaggio X10, and eventually may be introduced to other models in the Piaggio Group (which would include the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa.) Designed by Re:Lab, the PMP system  turns an iPhone into an onboard computer and secondary display. The kit mounts the iPhone over the Piaggio insignia on the center of the X10′s handlebar which, from the rider’s perspective, puts it just below the scooter’s standard instruments.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
