Low Reserve Up for grabs is my beautiful 1970 Moto Guzzi pictures words don't truly describe the condition of the bike. The bike runs, rides, shifts, and pulls through every gear just like it came off the showroom floor back in 1970. The bike is a true time piece that spent the last 22 years on display. Recently I went on a 100 mile ride with her and she rode beautifully with no hick ups at all. Tires are in great shape with around 200 miles on them, all fresh fluids and a new Duracell Ultra dry cell battery were installed last month. The paint is in great condition There is one small tiny chip on the front left hand side of the tank please view the pictures to see in detail. This Moto Guzzi would make an excellent piece in anyone's collection. I encourage all bidders to come view the bike in person or send a certified mechanic to view the bike on your behalf. EICMA 2012: Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom and Touring Versions Revealed

Last week, we got a peak at the new touring version of the Moto Guzzi California 1400, the new flagship cruiser from the Italian brand. Piaggio has now presented the new California 1400 at the 2012 EICMA Show in both its touring trim and the custom version pictured above. The new Moto Guzzi California 1400 is powered by a 1380cc V-Twin engine, which Piaggio claims is the largest V-Twin produced by an European manufacturer.

2012-2013 Moto Guzzi Griso, Norge, Stelvio NTX Rear Suspension Recall

Earlier this month, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the 2012-2013 Moto Guzzi Griso, Norge GT 8V and Stelvio NTX 1200 8V because of a problem with their rear suspension systems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has also announced recall for the U.S. market, revealing more information about the issue.

Piaggio Reports 2012 Sales Results

The Piaggio Group reported a 7.3% decrease in net sales and a 9.0% decrease in net profit for 2012, thanks in large part to a sharp decline in demand in Europe including an all-time low for motorcycle sales in Italy. Piaggio reported net sales of 1.406 billion euros (US$1.842 billion) in 2012, down from 1.516 billion euros in 2011. Motorcycles and scooters accounted for net sales of 993.3 million euros (US$1.301 billion), a 3.1% decrease from 1.025 billion euros reported for 2011.
