Bought new a few months ago, this is a 2104 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring in new condition. It only has 443 miles, so it's not broken in yet. Balance of two-year warranty remains; about 21 months. If you're looking you know all about this motorcycle, but here are some of its particulars:
1400cc V-twin Engine Six Speed Transmission with Final Overdrive Shaft Drive Ride by Wire, Cruise Control, ABS Brakes and Traction Control with Three Ride Modes Please check the Moto Guzzi web site for full features and specifications. This is a great handling, solid, steady touring bike. Great for one or two-up. A real road burner with loads of luggage space. The only modification is the addition of Moto Guzzi's Windshield Air Deflectors p/n B064235. They make a huge difference. If you know Guzzis, the motor is a torque monster with even more grunt than a Griso. Riding this bike is truly a pleasure. Includes keys, Owner's Manual, Service Book. I am the original owner. Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline
Wed, 14 Dec 2011The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).

The first Guzzi World Days event since 2007, the three-day celebration attracted thousands of enthusiasts representing about 52 different countries around the world. Visitors got to see the restoration efforts on historic Moto Guzzi landmarks including its famous wind tunnel, the first to be used by a motorcycle manufacturer to test aerodynamics.
