Extras include Hepco & Becker luggage racks and hard bags with keys, new battery, crash bars, seat modified by Ned's Seats, spare oil sump gasket. Bike has rebuilt title due to previous owner laying bike down on right side at low speed. There was a ground down spot on valve cover which I repaired. Has small dent in tank which I tried to show in picture, has some scratches on right bag and right muffler. No serious damage and none of it is obvious, please take a look at the pictures. Michelin Pilot tires have about 40% tread left. I have changed the engine oil and filter, transmission oil and final drive oil. I have put about 3,000 miles on it and it starts, runs and handles with no issues whatsoever. Please feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures. |

Piaggio Reports Q3 2011 Results
Tue, 01 Nov 2011Piaggio announced a net profit of 46.3 million euros (US$63.3 million) over the first nine months of 2011. That represents a slight dip from the 46.7 million euros (US$63.8 million) over the same period of 2010, but still respectable numbers in the face of a shrinking market for motorcycles in Europe. The decrease in profit comes despite a 2.0% increase in net sales, with Piaggio taking in 1.20 billion euros (US$1.64 billion) over the first three quarters.
Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
