Moto Guzzi LeMans description
Selling my 1991 LeMans mk. 5 aka ci. 5500.00 obo. 42000 miles. Will help with shipping.
Here are the details;
It is one of 34 imported in 1991. 17 were red with red frames and 17 were black with red frames. It's the last of the Tonti framed Lemans. It differs from the early models in that it came with a 18 inch front wheel, frame mounted fairing, Bitudo 40mm front forks, floating brake rotors and updated switches. In the last 3000 miles it has had the heads rebuilt, new rings and guilds, 450 watt brushless charging system carbs rebuilt and new bearings in the final drive. The timing chain has been replaced with gear drive system, forks have been rebuilt, it has a dyna ignition system, Bub exhaust system, adjustable bars and remote oil filter assembly. Brakes have been unlinked with stainless lines and Corbin seat. It has a few minor bumps and bruises, chips around the headlight and front fender, rub marks on the seat, tail section and side covers. As you might expect for 42k miles. Paint is in good condition. Comes with Cortech soft luggage. I have some spares, including another set of side covers and original seat and bars. Verifiable check, cash or wire transfer only.

The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.Fri, 28 Sep 2012
Back in March, Piaggio Vice President of design Miguel Galluzzi revealed the Italian firm would release several versions of the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 including a full touring version. We’ve seen photographs of the new California in prototype form from Piaggio‘s North American dealer meeting, but we’ve now come across a picture of what looks like the final production version in full touring trim. The picture, appears to have been leaked from an official catalog photoshoot, shows the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 with hard bags, engine bars, extra lighting and windscreen.
