2000 Moto Guzzi Jackal with side car. The bike runs well and has been garage kept. It has custom saddle bags, windshield, exhaust pipes, and detailed chrome pieces throughout. The side car has independent suspension with shock absorber and a brand new tire installed 9/2013. The bike had full scheduled service completed 9/2013 with all paperwork. The motorcycle drives differently with the side car and needs some practice to be proficient. This is a fun Saturday afternoon ride. Piaggio Reports Q2 2013 Results

The Piaggio Group reported a 12.1% decrease in net sales over the opening six months of 2013, the company’s worst first half showing since 2004. Net sales totaled 671.5 million euros (US$891.9 million) over the first six months, compared to 764.1 million euros reported in the same period of 2012. Piaggio still earned a net profit of 25 million euros (US$33.2 million ) in the first half, but that’s a 26.1% drop from last year’s 33.8 million euros.

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
