This Classic British motorcycle showing 12,054 miles on the odometer is less than 800 miles from a beautiful top-quality restoration
No expenses were spared in this complete nut and bolt rebuild
Motor: Complete rebuild including Super Blend crank bearings
.020 overbore with new pistons, rings, pins, rod bearings, valve guides with reground seat.
Cylinder fins were reshaped for uniformity, painted black, and clear coated.
Engine breather was installed and custom braided oil lines from motor to oil tank, and motor to rockers crafted
Boyer electronic ignition, new wires caps and plugs
All new fuel lines and filters, rebuilt Amal concentrics with upgraded ticklers
All new exhaust system with header tubes sprayed inside with hi-temp coating to prevent bluing
Completely rebuilt transmission with upgraded roller bearings and custom inner and outer oil and kick shaft seals
All new isolastics with mounting cradle modified to allow removal of transmission without removing motor, drive sprockets modified to accept 520 O-ring chain
Rebuilt clutch with upgraded fiber disks and special designed push rod seal
Rebuilt front forks, inner bushings, seals, dust covers and Progressive springs
Lower tubes polished, upper and lower triple trees ground smooth and chromed along with bar clamps and new handlebars.
Swingarm upgraded with welded in gussets and new shaft with roller bearing conversion
New polished aluminum flanged rims built by Buchanan's with polished stainless steel spokes and nipples. New sealed wheel bearings front and rear. 18" wheel conversion in rear with Avon Road Rider tires all around. Hubs ceramic coated clear to prevent staining with new brake shoes front and rear
Fuel Tank fiberglass block sanded to perfection, painted black with custom airbrushed gold logos and clear coated
New factory patterned seat with Norton lettering and chrome trim
Details: Engine cases, Transmission, and hubs polished to mirror finish
All nuts, bolts, washers, spacers, hangers, and literally every part on this bike is polished, chromed, or freshly re-plated in cadmium

Norton V4SV: the most luxurious British sportbike ever created

The Solihull company announced nothing less than the beginning of a new era of British motorcycle construction. And the symbol of the beginning of this era will be the Norton V4SV sportbike, presented at once in two versions: Manx and Carbon. Scheduled for release next year, the V4SV is powered by a 1,200cc V-4-cylinder engine, developed in-house.

Norton Motorcycles Enters Canadian Market

Norton Motorcycles has received approval from Canada’s transportation and environment government agencies, finally opening the way for the British manufacturer to introduce its Commando models to the market. Norton has been working to enter Canada for a while and already has customers waiting since 2010. Deliveries will finally be made in the spring.

Prince William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
