This is a beautiful Norton bike! I purchased it from the original owner. The bike sat in his shop for 8 years. I cleaned the carbs, points, adj. valves and it fired on third kick.] The bike was blue when I got it, (not my favorite color) so I had it professionally painted with decal's clear coated...real nice! The bike is real solid, all numbers match. I believe it is stock, the original owner said the top end has only 1,000 miles since overhaul and I believe him. Real strong compression..has the combat cam. 2 into one pipe (tuned), all paper work good. Title in hand, extra parts go with the bike (factory tool kit, tire pump, spare real wheel, stock air cleaner, owners manual, repair manual. $500.00 depossit at end of auction - bike does not leave my property until paid in full. Norton Motorcycles Begins Shipping Units to US
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Norton Motorcycles has begun shipping its Commando 961 to American dealerships, marking the first delivery of new motorcycles from the brand to the U.S. in over 30 years. The shipped models are also some of the the first batch of motorcycles to roll out of Norton’s new Hastings House manufacturing facility.

And only after the end of the story with Commando, the company will move on to the assembly of the V4 model, and then the two long-awaited Atlases. According to the company's management, the new model, Norton Atlas, currently still requires a number of final fine-tuning works before the start of mass production.
Norton Motorcycles Enters Canadian Market
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Norton Motorcycles has received approval from Canada’s transportation and environment government agencies, finally opening the way for the British manufacturer to introduce its Commando models to the market. Norton has been working to enter Canada for a while and already has customers waiting since 2010. Deliveries will finally be made in the spring.
