This is a rider quality bike. Speedo shows 19,zero miles. The paint is good but looks like a amateur paint job. Just installed two new Dunlop tires. Seat has a tear. We changed the oil and worked on the carbs. The carbs have some wear but its very rideable. The mufflers look the same but they are a little different so it sounds a little funny. Cond. #3. Norton Motorcycles Enters Canadian Market
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Norton Motorcycles has received approval from Canada’s transportation and environment government agencies, finally opening the way for the British manufacturer to introduce its Commando models to the market. Norton has been working to enter Canada for a while and already has customers waiting since 2010. Deliveries will finally be made in the spring.

Tue, 22 Oct 2013The top selling model of Bonhams annual sale of collectors’ motorcycles, a 1966 Norton 350cc Manx prepared by legendary tuner Francis Beart and raced by Joe Dunphy and Keith Heckles, fetched a whopping $100,481 last Sunday. The auction price more than doubled the top selling estimate and set a new world record for a Manx sold at auction. Eighty percent of the 436 lots offered sold at the auction totaling $2,168,314 Hot on its heels came the technological marvel from an earlier era that produced the sale’s best result when the 250cc Moto Morini Grand Prix racer from the 1960s fetched $145,081. The Molnar Norton Manx, prepared and entered by Fred Walmsley for the late World Champion Barry Sheene, sold for $89,490.

Tue, 14 May 2013On June 3rd, Moto-Electra, one of the pioneers in electric motorcycle technology, will attempt to break the world record for electric vehicles in a cross-continent ride spanning over 2500 miles. The motorcycle? Moto-Electra’s signature electric bike based on the Norton Featherbed chassis that was patented in 1949.
