Other Gilera Giubileo description

1959 Gilera Giubileo, 98cc 4-stroke single cylinder, 4 speed gearbox. NO TITLE, Bill of Sale Only. Starts easily and runs well. Completely rideable. Recently restored and reconditioned, but not a "Show Bike". Tank is painted and has a touched up chip (see photo) and a couple of small scratches. The rest of the bike (frame, forks, fenders, tool boxes, etc.) has been powdercoated. Red powdercoating on toolboxes matches tank perfectly. Wheels have original chrome and new Michelin tires and new tubes. New chain and recent battery. All lights work, as does horn. Charging system works, as does "charging indicator" light. Ignition "on-off" switch has been relocated to bottom of headlight. Switch on top of headlight still operates headlight and running light. New exhaust system. New cables and new wiring harness from front to back. Footpeg rubbers, shifter rubber and optional Red handgrips are marked "Gilera". Original Red and Black 'Dolomiti' seat. Speedo shows 11,758 miles. Speedo face is faded, but speedo works. Speedo needle does not show up well in photo, but is there. Again, No Title, but Ebay does not have that option for listing.

1959 was the first year for the "Giubileo", as it was Gilera's 50th Anniversary year.
