Other Malaguti description

This is my Vintage-Style Italian Scooter that i used to cruise around on. Imported from Italy in 2002. Thats right, imported. All units are metric. It has roughly 1,700KMS on the ODO (1,000 Miles). These scooters were only imported from 1999-2004, and there were only around 22,000-25,000 Produced worldwide. Extremely unique and desireable!

It has a fiberglass body with ABS Flat Black accenting, and a steel frame.
Fully equipped with headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn indicators, a horn, illuminated dash with Hi-Beam, low oil, and blinker dash pods.

The seat is in excellent condition, and is made out of naugahyde. The mirrors have been re-chromed. The chrome accenting looks great, but there are some small spots on them that could be cleaned up easily. The body looks really nice, but does have some scratches(Previous owner stored it in tight spots with lots of clutter surrounding it), and small chips in the paint. It has never been in an accident.

The engine is a 2-stroke Minarelli 49.3cc (To be exact) engine, with electric and kickstart. NOT the cheap chinese GY6 engine which pretty much every other scooter is equipped with. Do not need to mix gas with oil, there is a separate tank to add oil in. There is a built in speed limiter in the exhaust system. The fastest i've gone is about 59-60K/MH (36MPH). The gas tank capacity is 9 Liters (Roughly 2.75 Gallons) The transmission is a CVT Type, and it fully automatic. Just give it gas, and go.

*However, the carburator needs a bit of work. It is sometimes hard to start, and sputters when under light throttle. Could just need to be cleaned.*

Suspension feels very nice, absorbs bumps well. Brakes are pretty good, but the front brake squeeks occasionally. Front brake is Hydraulic. Tires have TONS of tread with no cracking or splitting.

I recently bought a car, and rarely ride this beauty anymore. It does need a bit touching up, and tuning up to make it perfect, but that is not a hard task at all.

***THE TAGS HAVE BEEN EXPIRED SINCE 2009***

Yes, i have been able to get away with driving it for quite a while with expired tags, haha. It will eventually need to be registered if you want to legally ride it on a highway.

Local pickup only. Please feel free to ask any questions. If you are a serious inquieror, i can provide you with extra pictures if needed.
