The Boulevard or Savage uses a 30 horsepower, 652 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, sohc engine, also referred to as thumper. This engine delivers good performance at moderate revs compared to most Japanese motorcycle engines. The Boulevard 650 is a good motorcycle for beginners with its easy handling and light weight at 352 pound. Its cruiser design and ease of maintenance also make it suitable for older, more experienced riders. 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa ABS Recall Expands to US
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Suzuki Motor of America has recalled the 2013 Hayabusa because of a problem with its anti-lock brake system. A Hayabusa recall was previously announced for the Canadian market, and it was no surprise a similar recall was announced for the U.S., as the issue traces back to a single part supplier, affecting several models from multiple manufacturers. The Suzuki Hayabusa is just one of several models from multiple manufacturers affected by a manufacturing error by ABS part supplier Nissin.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
