Suzuki DR description

In order to raise capital to start a business, I am going to have to sell my dr650. The bike just turned over 10,000 miles, and will go up steadily as I continue to drive it around town before it is sold.

The good:
I replaced the starter gear myself with an oem suzuki torque limiter gear.
Loctited the NSU bolts.
Removed the upper chain roller, squirted silicone in the hole.
Supertrapp IDS2 muffler
newish battery (under a year)
oil changed every 2k miles
procycle blue timing cover plugs, and brake fittings
blinking led auxillary brake lights
raptor fuel petcock
Acerbis hand guards

The bad:
could use new grips
rear tire is well worn
stock bars have some surface rust, and are very slightly bent from washing the bike in my front yard, and the hose washing out the soil from under the kickstand, making it topple over.

The bike is located in Englewood, FL (34223). Call or text with any questions. 941-468-060seven

I am going to school in Ft.Myers, and will have to drive an hour to meet you at the bike, so no tire kickers please.

Yoshimura GSX1250FA EEC Approved Slip-On End-Can

Tue, 16 Feb 2010

JAPANESE TUNING house Yoshimura has released a series of EEC-approved Slip-On exhausts suitable for the Suzuki Bandit GSF1250SA and the new fully-faired Suzuki GSX1250FA.At over 3kgs lighter than the OE Suzuki item, each Yoshimura Slip-On comes with the pipe work to mount to the standard front section plus all parts (including muffler clamp) required for installation. The EEC-approved silencer features two dB-killer baffles, one in the link pipe, one in the can and when both are removed power and torque are increased over stock, claim Yoshimura. With full EEC silencing both torque and power curves are identical to the standard output, but a dB-Killer in the link-pipe when used with an open exhaust gives solid gains, the company say.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-177-5L50 (Stainless Steel)    3.4kg  £597.751A0-177-5L80 (Titanium)              3.2kg  £666.731A0-177-5L81B (Titan Blue)*       3.2kg  £747.191A0-177-5L20 (Metal Magic)        3.4kg  £689.72For more information on this or any other Yoshimura product contact 01782 569800 or visit www.phoenixnw.co.uk to find your nearest dealer.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
