Suzuki DR description

For sale 2015 Suzuki DR650

I bought this bike new from Coleman Powersports in Woodbridge, VA in September 2015. My intention was to keep this bike for a very long time. Unfortunately (ok, fortunate in many ways except this), my wife got a job overseas and we are moving. I cannot take this bike with me. I'm very sad to part with it. Looking for a good home and a dedicated rider to adopt it.

Details:

Bike has roughly 503 miles on it (425 on the Vapor ODO and 78 on the mechanical stock ODO.). It has been garage kept and never dropped. There are roughly $2,400 worth of accessories on the bike not including labor. I have over $8,500 in this bike. Installed are all the mods most people do to this bike. The only thing left to do is crash protection which I had not gotten to yet. With the Race Tech Suspension and Sargent seat it rides like a dream.

Extras/Enhancements:

Stainless Steel brake lines ($109.95)
Trail Tech Vapor Speedometer / Tachometer ($139.95)
Warp 9 Stainless Steel Oil Filter ($37.95)
Magnetic Drain Plug ($11.95)
DT1 Triple Layer Air Filter ($29.95)
Deluxe Fuel Screw Set ($29.95)
Ball Bearing Lower Chain Roller ($15.95)
Upper Chain Roller Delete Stainless Steel Screw Added
Race Tech Shock Shaft Assembly ($598.00)
Race Tech Cartridge Emulators ($155.95)
Race Tech Fork Springs ($99.95)
Sargent World Sport Seat ($369.95)
Ricochet Aluminum Skid Plate ($89.95)
Speedometer Drive Eliminator ($39.95)
Warp 9 3 Finger Brake and Clutch Levers ($89.95)
Moose Handguard Kit ($79.95)
Moose Handguard Deflectors ($24.95)
Nomadic Racks Rear Rack ($99.00)
Rotopax 1 Gallon Gas Container ($64.95)
Rotopax Mounting Hardware ($35.95)
Renthal Handlebar ($79.95)
Billet Aluminum Throttle Tube ($39.95)
Oxford Heaterz Heated Grips ($89.95)
Shinko E700 Set of Tires (Not Installed) ($100.00)
13" Custom Tool Container replacing the stock one
Custom Windscreen Fabricated From An Old Triumph Screen

I have most of the stock parts if purchaser would like them and can arrange for shipping them with the bike.

Items shown in the pictures but NOT included are the straps on the rear rack that go over the Rotopax gas container, the Stashbox behind the license plate, and the phone mount on the handlebars.  The Renthal handlebar pad has been added to the bike.

Coleman Powersports will ship this bike anywhere in the country for $650 (New York City is $750).  I can get this bike to Coleman and you can arrange with them for the shipping if you don't have other arrangements.  I am leaving the country on January 10th so all transactions and shipping arrangements must be taken care of prior to then.

Thanks for looking.

Suzuki Developing 1000cc Prototype – MotoGP Return in 2014 Still Possible

Fri, 03 Feb 2012

The first MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit is complete, with Ducati, Honda and Yamaha‘s factory and satellite teams, as well as a handful of CRT entries, collecting data for the next stage of their race prototypes’ development. Absent from testing was Suzuki which announced last November it was leaving MotoGP racing. Suzuki cited the recession, the rising value of the Japanese yen and the natural disasters afflicting Japan in 2011 as reasons for leaving MotoGP, but the manufacturer did say it intended to return in 2014.

2013 AIMExpo: Suzuki Unveils GW250

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Suzuki unveiled a new lightweight naked standard motorcycle at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) – the GW250. Powered by a 248cc liquid cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine, the GW250 would seem an ideal choice for newcomers not interested in sportbikes like the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke had a chance to ride the newest Suzuki and will be providing a review in the coming days.
