Selling with out reserve a recent rescue barn find 1981 SUZUKI GS850G , the bike is in what I consider very good condition for a 35 year old motorcycle. The battery is fairley new, the carbs have been cleaned and the bike runs good , no smoke on starting or while running. It is equiped with a KERKER 4into1pipe , pod type air cleaners , oil cooler , Fox shocks , teleflex fork brace , braided brake lines , custom seat and last but not least a Pichlerfull farring the chin portion of which is cracked due to snaging the trailor when loading , the odometer shows 60k , it has had a recent oil and filter change with full synhtic. These roller bearing engines are known to go well in excess of 100,000 miles without problems . I would recomend a new front tire and brake fluid change as the bike sat for a few years along with a good detailing , then the MAD MAX machine should be ready to go. An easy restoration of a truly classic machine. The bike will come with a curent NH Registration . NH does not title veichles prior to 2000 if needed I can apply for an antique title however most states will accept a curent registration. This bike is being sold as is as seen with out warranty expressed or implied .

Josh Hayes Wins Fourth AMA Superbike Title

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

When American Suzuki announced it was shutting down its automobile business, the company said it intended to focus on its powersports operations. It comes as a surprise then to some dealers that Suzuki is not renewing all of its dealership agreements. According to DealerNews, dealerships received letters this week from American Suzuki notifying them whether their franchise agreements would be renewed with the newly formed Suzuki Motor America.
