Suzuki GSX / Katana description

Rare and very low miles bike. Owned this bike for over 25 years and most of that time it was in storagebeen in storage. Everything is there. Starts and drives. Strong engine. Gas tank was cleaned, as were the carberatuers. It was dropped on the right side at some point so there is minor damage to the front turn signal, back turn signal and brake lever (see photos). There are two dings on the gas tank and the front fender has some scratches. Low reserve. I don't ride the bike so I don't need it anymore.

Volkswagen Buys 20 Percent Share in Suzuki

Fri, 11 Dec 2009

Months of rumors and a more credible report yesterday have culminated in the official news that Volkswagen will take a 20 percent share in Japanese automaker Suzuki, worth $2.5 billion. Volkswagen has its sights set on becoming the world’s largest automaker and with Suzuli’s small-car expertise, it hopes to make a large expansion into developing markets, like India. The news comes just a day after VW officially took a 49.9 percent stake in Porsche.

‘Rides like a dream’

Although aftermarket grips and LED strips are both listed on the ad for this poor Suzuki, there’s no mention of the single disc conversion at the front of the bike. It’s a good job the seller is in no rush to sell. Surely this is the worst looking SV650 ever? You can see the original ad here.

New Photos and Video of Suzuki Extrigger Electric Monkey Bike Concept

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

Suzuki has released new photographs of the Extrigger, the company’s electric minibike recently unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Suzuki also released a video of the Extrigger in action, though oddly the audio seems to have been left off. A potential electric competitor to the Honda Grom or Kawasaki‘s mini-supermoto KSR Pro, the Extrigger is powered by the same 580 W AC synchronous motor that propels Suzuki’s e-Let’s scooter.
