2003 Suzuki Hayabusa LIMITED EDITION, Selling a '03 Suzuki Hayabusa that has a big bore kit (all motor work done by Glenn Castro North County Hyper Sports). Odometer reads 15,000 miles but motor work was done march 2013. After mods the bike has only been run about 800 miles. Dyno read 197RWHP. The bike also had low end cams, new clutch with 4.5 in springs in the basket, air box mod, power commander, lowering links , and some custom paint. Asking $6,000 obo. When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

Suzuki Motor of America revealed the 2014 editions of its RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 motocross bikes with a few minor updates. How minor? The biggest change in fact is the company’s new name, replacing the Chapter 11′d American Suzuki.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.
