I bought this bike from the original owner. He was 35, married with children and selling his bike for financial reasons. He didn't keep receipts but in talking with him and meeting him, I came to believe him as trustworthy. His account of the bikes history is as follows:
Original owner, he never tracked the bike, dealer maintained through warranty period, had PCIII/K&N/Micron Slip-Ons installed and dyno'd at local speed shop, replaced both fork seals (speed shop said it wasn't necessary but owner was sure he saw some leakage), owner had the Suzuki cover and the bike was in excellent condition.
My story:
I'm very particular about my machines and was very pleased with how well taken care of the bike was cosmetically. I was disappointed about the previous owners lack of keeping records (he didn't even keep the Dyno sheets and the speed shop that did the work is no longer in business- UHG!). It starts, idles and runs flawlessly. I bought it with 8000 miles (after test riding a similar bike and being blown away by it) and have put about 1200 miles on it. I have never ridden a smoother, faster or more capable bike. I'm selling it because I have very little inside storage (bike always stored inside by both me and original owner) and I want to add a touring bike to my garage. Never down and very well maintained bike.
I changed the oil with synthetic when I bought it and the other fluids are fine. The chain and sprockets are in great condition (a sign of no abuse). It gets 40 to 45 MPG's on regular gas and the history of these bikes dependability is excellent.
You may be able to find a cheaper one, but I doubt you'll find a nicer one. Ready to ride - needs nothing.

Thanks,
Pat

Suzuki Teaser Video About Its Return To MotoGP
Mon, 06 Oct 2014At Intermot this year Suzuki made it official: the company was returning to MotoGP in 2015. There had been some speculation about a 2016 return considering that will be the year of new ECUs and a switch to Michelin spec tires, but team boss Davide Brivio confirmed the GSX-RR prototype will be in action next year, piloted by Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales. However, Suzuki will also make a wildcard appearance at the season ending round of the championship at Valencia with test rider, Randy DePuniet, at the helm.
AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
