Suzuki Hayabusa description

2007 Suzuki Hayabusa turbo, 442 HP SHOW WINNER! PARTIAL TRADE?

2007 Suzuki Hayabusa LE in Vigor Blue. 7,200 original miles. I rode this bike yesterday (8-31-2013) IN 97 DEGREE HEAT FOR 75 MILES and it performed flawlessly.

ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: Engine hand-assembled by Ken at Velocity Racing. Dyno tuned exclusively by Ryan Schnitz at Schnitz Racing. ITS titanium-coated dual ceramic ball-bearing turbo (freshened by manufacturer under 500 miles ago), Wossner pistons and rods, MCXpress plenum with integrated air-to-water intercooler, PC primary fuel controller, 034 Motorsports secondary fuel controller, S2000 primary injectors, RC secondary injectors, Schnitz valve springs, APE full engine stud kit, Cometic head gasket, Tial wastegate, Greddy RS series BOV, MPS billet 2-inch oil pan with swivel pickup, Fast by Gast transmission, APE billet output shaft, Schnitz oil evacuator pump, billet clutch and stator covers. Suzuki steels and fibers with Schnitz springs, Aquamist boost-referenced alcohol injection, Bosch 044 fuel pump with 1/2 braided stainless line throughout.

Body/Chassis: Original sub frame swapped for early aluminum sub frame, 8" over swing arm , lowered in front 1 inch/rear 2 inches, handle bars raised 1 inch, aluminum Tiger under tail, MPS air shifter (never hooked up or used), liquid-filled Autometer boost/vacuum gauge on right dash panel, air-to-water reservoir in swing arm.

THINGS I WOULD CHANGE: There is a small scratch (3/4 inch) on the gas tank. It is covered by the tank bra. A tank protector would also cover it. The BOV cutout on the fairing needs to be more closely trimmed to be perfect. Also, because the turbo is larger than most that you find on Hayabusas, it sometimes will put out a puff of smoke upon startup. This is normal for turbo Hayabusas that have larger turbos. There is an onboard Schnitz oil evacuator pump, but sometimes it still happens. Tires will also need to be changed soon.

This bike is a member of the Texas Mile 200+ MPH Club. It has unbelievable power and rides like a Cadillac! I built it as if I would never sell it, so it's safe and fast. I may take a partial trade.

IF YOU HAVE FEWER THAN 10 FEEDBACKS, YOU MUST MESSAGE ME BEFORE BIDDING OR YOUR BIDS WILL BE DELETED.

$500 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION.

As with any item that has been modified to this extent, I'm sure there are things I've forgotten to list about it. I'll add those things to the ad as I remember them.

Please see my feedback and bid with confidence. Also, message me and I'll give you my number so you can speak to me more in depth about the bike. I want the new owner to
be as happy with it as I've been. Thank you!

Suzuki Reports 2011-2012 Results

Thu, 10 May 2012

Suzuki declared a loss of 2.4 billion yen (US$30.0 million) from its motorcycle division over the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. Though still a loss, it’s an improvement on the loss of 10.8 billion yen reported the previous year. Suzuki attributes the loss to an appreciating yen and the financial impact from heavy flooding in Thailand.
