2001 SUZUKI INTRUDER VS800 This Suzuki was just traded. It is the VS800 Intruder model and is in great condition. The bike makes for a great commuter or beginner bike. It is water cooled and carbureted. The overall condition is very good. The previous owner did store it outside under a cover so it does have some light spots of rust. A few bolts and brackets but nothing major. The paint and chrome is very good with no dents, scratches or pitting. The bike has fallen on it side and the only damage that can be found is to the end of the turn-signals and the left exhaust muffler which has some scrapes. The color is gloss black. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. The rear tire has about 75% tread life while the front is about 55%. The front brakes are fairly new and the rear pads fine as well. All the lights, gauges and horn work 100%. I have taken this bike on a short reliability run and the engine, clutch and gearbox all work and sound as they should. 2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results
Mon, 24 Feb 2014KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
Suzuki Forms Joint Venture for Developing Fuel Cell Technology
Tue, 07 Feb 2012Suzuki announced it is partnering with U.K.-based Intelligent Energy Holdings to form a joint venture for developing fuel cell systems. The new joint venture, SMILE FC System Corporation, will work on developing fuel cell systems for both motorcycles and automobiles. Intelligent Energy, with its fuel cell expertise and Suzuki, with its mass production capabilities, will each have 50% share of SMILE FC.
