Suzuki Other description
This is an excellent vintage two stroke dual sport, everything works. 4 speed transmission with high/low ranges. Low miles, recent work includes: engine/transmission opened and inspected, forks rebuilt, carb rebuild, new brakes, new tires, new battery. Comes with lots of spare parts new and used. Runs and drives great.
Bike is available for local pickup or shipment at buyers expense and setup. This was one of two recently purchased for a friend that wanted to learn how to ride. I bought one so she got a good deal but have no use for it. The entire bike was gone through by the previous owner who restored these as a hobby. He rebuilt the fork, new piston, battery, tires, went through the tranny, , everything. Has all original paint and chrome in excellent shape. Everything works including electrical. Comes with a repair manual and a bunch of spare parts. This bike does have a lost title that the previous owner took care of. It has current tabs and a transferable registration. The last owner purchased this from the original owner and then went through the state patrol stuff to get it re-registered under his name. The title is still under the mandatory waiting period currently under my name. I will update VIN when I get home. |

EICMA 2008: First Impressions
Mon, 03 Nov 2008I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.

The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger.
