Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.

Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. Intermot 2012: Special Edition Suzuki GSX-R1000 Celebrates 1 Millionth Gixxer

Suzuki is celebrating the production of the 1 millionth motorcycle in the GSX-R family with a limited edition model. Unveiled at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, the Millionth Edition 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 comes with a commemorative paint scheme, black Brembo brake calipers, pin-striped wheels, gold fork tubes and red fork caps, suspension spring and nose. The top yoke also features a numbered Millionth Edition plate and the key is decorated with Suzuki’s red “R” logo.
