Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Wed, 30 Apr 2014Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. has increased the funds available in its 2014 Road Race Contingency Program, and is now paying successful GSX-R racers competing in the three-race GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout. The series opened April 26 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., and moves to Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., for the 2014 Arai Pacific Nationals May 3-4.
Suzuki Recalls 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman Scooters
Fri, 10 Feb 2012Suzuki issued a recall campaign for its 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman scooters due to a defect in the brake light activation switches. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear brake lights may not activate when the rider squeezes the brake levers of the affected models. As a result, other road users behind the affected unit may not realize it is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
