In 2003, Suzuki released the V-Strom 650 targeting a wider range of users. This versatile model covers not only daily use such as commuting, but also weekend touring as well. With the addition of an ABS-equipped model in 2006, the V-Strom 650 has always been the best-selling model in its class. To further improve its running performance and riding comfort, Suzuki decided to develop a new model. For 2012, Suzuki is introducing the new and improved V-Strom 650 ABS. The development concept for the 2012 model was The Comfortable Adventure Tourer. While enhancing the proven running performance and in-town versatility of the current model, Suzuki improved the riding comfort even further on the 2012 V-Strom. Its new V-Twin 645 cc engine features improved overall performance in the low-to-mid rpm range and the styling and bodywork design was revamped for better wind protection. 2012 Suzuki GW250 – Baby B-King the Flagship Model for Chinese Market

Suzuki officially launched its new GW250 B-King inspired motorcycle as its flagship model for China. Presented at the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor 2011), Suzuki GW250 will be produced in China first for the domestic market but will later be exported to Europe, Indonesia and Central and South America. The GW250 will be sold in China by Haojue, a joint venture between Suzuki and Jiangmen Dachangjiang Group and one of China’s largest motorcycle The liquid-cooled and fuel-injected 248cc parallel Twin motorcycle inherits many of the design cues from the Suzuki B-King, the Hayabusa-engined naked.

University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park

eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.

A recent visit to the Yoshimura facility in Chino, CA, provided us an in-person peak at the company’s 2013 limited edition GSX-R. The burgundy red and black with metal flake and gold pin striping color scheme is both striking and sophisticated while subtle details such as the Yoshimura radiator stencil heighten its visual appeal. And these bikes are seriously limited – only 45 examples will be produced. Introduced last year Yoshimura says the response from Suzuki dealers and consumers alike has been nothing short of phenomenal. The 45 bikes produced this year will be a combination of 600, 750 and 1000cc models and the mix determined by dealer demand.
