1992 Suzuki RM250 2-Stroke Off-Road Dirt Bike

I purchased the bike not realizing the speed and power of this bike. It is amazingly fast! Just too fast for me. Having said that, it's time to sell.

New water pump with bearings and seals. Trans shift case and Clutch plates all cleaned. Carb cleaned., etc.

Good overall condition. Runs good.

I am also including all extra plastics and parts seen in the pictures as well with this sale.

Serious bidders only!

UPDATE

IN AN EFFORT TO BE 100% HONEST AND TRANSPARENT, I JUST RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM ANOTHER
E-BAY MEMBER THAT THIS BIKE MAY BE A 1989. I HONESTLY CANNOT CONFIRM THIS BUT BY THE SAME TOKEN, CANNOT DENY THIS STATEMENT. HAVING SAID THAT, IT WAS SOLD TO ME AS A 1994. I ONLY RECEIVED A BILL OF SALE SO DON'T HAVE A TITLE TO CONFIRM EITHER WAY. THE WATER PUMP AND SEAL PARTS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED WERE BASED ON THE 1994 MODEL AND WORKED FINE. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I PURCHASED THE BIKE AND THE ADDITIONAL PLASTICS AND EXHAUST WERE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE. OF COURSE ANY INTERESTED PARTIES ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO VIEW IN PERSON

FOLLOW UP UP-DATE 8-6-2013

I CALLED THE DEALER WITH THE VIN TODAY. I WAS TOLD THAT THE YEAR OF THE BIKE IS THE 10th DIGIT OF THE VIN. IN THIS CASE, IT'S AN "N" WHICH HE SAID MADE THIS BIKE A 1992!

Being sold AS-IS, where IS. I say that only because of the nature of the item. I have described to the best of my ability and will be completely transparent in regards to this listing. I encourage any potential bidder to view the item in person prior to any bidding.

Ebay required I list mileage on the bike in order to list. Clearly being an off-road dirt bike, this does not apply. NOTE: 1111 IS NOT A TRUE MILEAGE

Ebay required I list title status in order to list. NOTE:  I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS BIKE. I WILL PROVIDE A BILL OF SALE HOWEVER.

Local pick-up only! I will not ship this bike. I do have a truck and trailer that i may be able to assist with but any transportation agreement must be be agreed between buyer / seller prior to any bidding.

No international bidders please.

Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.

Kevin Schwantz Unveils Suzuki GSX-RR At Motegi

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

From a Suzuki press release: The 2015 Suzuki MotoGP GSX-RR was unveiled at today’s Motegi MotoGP race in Japan as 1993 World 500cc GP Champion Kevin Schwantz was joined by 1982 World Champion Franco Uncini for demonstration laps at the Twin Ring circuit. Schwantz, who joined the Suzuki MotoGP test team for its test at Austin in Texas, USA earlier this year, rode the GSX-RR while Uncini demonstrated the GSV-R that last competed in the 2011 MotoGP series. Kevin Schwantz: “I started very carefully as we didn’t start from pit-lane and without tyre warmers, but I soon felt the machine was being very stable and I was able to speed-up.
