Suzuki RM description

What we have here is a very nice well maintained 2004 Suzuki RM 85. This bike is a 6 speed 2 stroke. It only has one problem and it's a small crack in the side number plate as shown in the pictures. But it's gunna happen when your riding. It also has the rare hot wheels graphics on it. It also has a full fmf exhaust, boysen reeds, and a full top to bottom rebuild using only quality wiseco parts. It only has about 10-20 hours on the rebuild. Also It starts right up first kick cold or hot. I have only ever run Lucas or amsoil synthetic 2 stroke oil through it. It also comes with a custom stand. This bike has been fun, it's fast and pulls wheelies through the first 3 gears. But it's time to let it go. I will only except cash in person, possibly a trade, but only in person and you have to pick it up. If it's cash it has to be in my hand when you come to pick it up. Also these bikes did not come with titles because they are only meant to be raced. I'm friends with the original owner and he didn't get one when he bought it new. I can give a bill of sale though. Let me know if you have any questions or offers. Thanks.

Suzuki to Join MotoGP Test at Catalunya

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Suzuki plans to take part in the mid-June MotoGP test at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. If all goes according to plan, the June 17 test, which follows the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season, will mark the first time a Suzuki MotoGP bike has shared the track with the prototypes from rival manufacturers Ducati, Honda and Yamaha since 2011. When Suzuki announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing in 2011, the Japanese manufacturer said it planned to return for the 2014 season.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
