Runs and rides perfectly
New battery and oil change
Always garaged
Needs nothing
Completely stock

I bought this great bike in 2011 and have ridden it only 1400 miles in the last 5 years. For those of you who know these bikes you know how great they are and what a following they still have. They are a very light weight, fast torque monster. It is easy to ride and handles great. I am now 61 years old and have recently bought a BMW K1200GT sport tourer which is a bit more comfortable for an old guy like me. The Suzuki runs and rides like new. It is also very nice looking cosmetically except for the pictured small rash on the right front fairing corner near the headlight.
I purchased this at an insurance salvage auction (where I buy all of my vehicles). I have pictured the original auction listing so you can see what little damage there was. I it was a very light lay down (probably less than 10 mph). There was a broken turn signal stalk, a scratched exhaust can, and a broken brake lever which I replaced. There was absolutely no frame, wheel or engine damage. The only scratch/crack in the plastic or metal was the pictured small spot on the front fairing. I rode it home!  I can't believe that the insurance company totaled it and sent it to the auction. I know all the plastic fairing pieces on bikes are very expensive. I guarantee that you will love this bike and would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. If you are the lucky winner of the auction and pay the deposit, you are welcome to come and see and ride it and then decide to buy it or not. It is that nice!  It has a rebuilt title which can be plated and insured just like any other. Happy to answer all questions.

New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system.  Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.
