Suzuki SV description

I have a 2003 SV650 track ready bike for sale. Bought in 2006 with 1,500 miles on the motor and I have done about 4 track days per year since then - last track day was in Sept 2012. The following description was supplied to me when I bought it in 2006:

2. FRONT FORK HAVE HONDA F4 INSIDES FOR FULL ADJUSTIBLITY (TUNED BY COMPUTRAK)
3. M4 EXHAUST FULL SYSTEM THE BEST EXHAUST ON THE MARKET FOR SV
4. SHARKSKINS BODY WORKS
5. EBC BRAKE PADS FRONT AND BACK
6. VORTEX REARSETS FULLY ADJUSTIBLE
7. GALPHER BRAIDED BRAKE LINES
8. GBR STEERING DAMPENER
9. VORTEX SPOCKETS

The bike also has a Shorai lithium battery (great battery, wasn't charged since Sept 2012 and the bike fired up the first try in July of this year). Tires can still be used for a couple of track days at least.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.

Suzuki MotoGP Development Video Series

The first video of a four-part series documenting Team Suzuki’s MotoGP development process for its return to MotoGP in 2015 featuring behind-the-scenes and on-track footage is now available for viewing. Further programs will be available here on January 4th, January 7th and January 10th.  Episode 1 The Suzuki MotoGP test program gets underway in March at Suzuki’s Development base in Ryuyo, Japan with behind-the-scenes footage, on-track action and an interview with Suzuki MotoGP test rider Nobu Aoki. Episode 2 The team moves to Twin Ring Motegi in Japan in April and May where MotoGP rider Randy De Puniet joins the team as test rider.

Electric Motorcycle Conversion

Donald and Andrew Higginbotham, are a father and son team that converted a Suzuki RF900 into an electric motorcycle at their home over the course of three months worth of Saturdays. It ended up costing about $3,000 to complete with parts from Electric Motorsport. The bike gets about 35 miles per charge at a maximum speed of 55mph.
