This is a very nicely restored and very sorted 1965 Triumph Bonneville T120SR that is ready to enjoy or purchase for your collection. All the original sheetmetal was restored and no nut or bolt was left untouched, and it starts right up on its first kick and is ready to hit the road. The motorcycle was changed up from Solid Black to a very classy Black and Engilsh Cream two tone, and it really stands out and looks like a million bucks with the new colors, and it is all Base Coat/Clear Coat for a nice shine.
Everything on the bike works as it should and rides beautifully down the highway or back twisty roads, and it literally needs nothing and is ready to fire up and enjoy the moment it is picked up, so there are no surprises with this one. Tires are great, brakes are great, motor is great, transmission is great, front forks rebuilt and great, all the frame is fresh coated and clean, so it is a pleasure to ride and talk to people that have to ask questions where ever you go. 50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
