Triumph Bonneville description
For Sale:
Really hate to do this but I have been thinking about selling my 1967 Triumph Bonneville Survivor chopper. This is a great bike with a lot of nice details. This bike was built back in 1970, originally came from the Boston area. I am the third owner. When I obtained the bike, I pulled the motor and had it rebuilt by PT Customs up in Dorr, Michigan. This is a strong running every day riding chopper. The rear fender and frame are molded, vintage wassell tank, paughco springer front end, dog bone risers with z-bars, AEE trident sissy bar, king and queen seat, highway pegs, 16-inch rear and 19-inch spool wheel in the front. No front bake. This is a real nice 70's survivor, real nice bike, major head turner. It's not for the faint of heart or beginner rider. This bike has a brand new set of Amal 930 carbs on it. I'm in the process of re-spoking the rear wheel and the charging system and ignition were all updated a couple years ago. This bike is ready to ride and have fun on. Thanks for looking feel free to contact at 3307155273 with any questions. NO international shipping |

Buddy Holly, Ariel Cyclone, 1958
Thu, 19 Apr 2012Above is some fantastic home movie footage of Buddy Holly and the Crickets messing around on motorbikes in 1958. The story behind the bikes in the video starts after Buddy Holly, Joe Mauldin and Jerry Allison came back from a successful tour in 1958, flush with cash. The trio decided to spend their rock and roll dollars on brand new motorcycles.
Total and utter destruction
Thu, 15 Sep 2011Poor Ashley Beech. You've gotta feel for him. After a fraction too much throttle on the run down to Donington's Old Hairpin, the rear breaks grip amd he starts what should be a graceful slide across Craner Curve's neatly mown grass.
