Triumph Bonneville description

1977 Triumph Bonneville. Hardtailed this winter.

Clear CO title in hand.

Bonneville -- dual carb.
Single brand new unit coil mounted cleanly under the tank.
750 cc motor -- freshly done top end. Loves to rev. Quick, and under 4500 miles total.
5 speed tranny -- smooth and perfect shifter. Takes highway speeds like a champ.
Kickstart -- starts in 2 kicks guaranteed (usually 1 light kick).
Hardtail frame by David Bird -- the absolute best you can get. Professionally welded on too.
Seat -- new lowbrow springer goldflake seat, super comfy if you weigh between about 120-220 lbs.
Brakes -- freshly bled front and rear discs. Rotors perfect. Stops smooth and quick.
Paint -- super rad 24k goldleaf on gloss black paint. Original black paint on tank underneath. Shows patina, chips, and such, in a classy way.
Pipes -- custom straight pipes, wrapped in DEI (the best) and 8" baffles inside. Purrs, but isn't obnoxious.
Stock cafe racer style bars (3" rise).
Tires -- brand new (maybe 400 miles on em).

All the bad-assery you can stand, while still being fast, comfortable, easy to handle, and dead reliable. Fresh fluids, fresh forks, freshly tuned carbs, fresh oil and fuel lines, all fresh wiring, and fresh brakes. The only things not brand new on here are the motor, the shiny original spoke wheels, and the tank.

Tue, 23 Jun 2020

And it's not even a motorcycle. A two-wheeled novelty from Hinckley is an electric bicycle with a range of 145 km. The new two-wheeled Triumph is visually as close as possible to a classic road bike, all electrical equipment - a battery, an electric motor, wiring - is carefully hidden from strangers' eyes in an aluminum frame.
