UP FOR AUCTION IS MY 1979 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE 750 5 SPEED THIS BIKE RUNS AND RIDES FANTASTIC AND SOUNDS AWSOME, IT STARTS VERY EASY. JUST HAD THE CARBS CLEANED AND SYNCED, OIL CHANGE WITH 20W 50 VALVOLINE MOTORCYCLE OIL THE TRANSMISSION OIL HAS ALSO BEEN CHANGED EP-80 90 2 NEW SPARK PLUGS AND THE FRONT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER REPLACED AND FLUID FUSHED. (stock master cylinder is included w bike) INSIDE OF GAS TANK IS CLEAN AND RUST FREE. THE PAINT ON THE BIKE IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COUPLE OF VERY SMALL CHIPS AND SCRATCHES THAT WOULD ONLY BE NOTICED IF POINTED OUT. THE CHROME IS ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE THE VERY TOP OF THE HEADLIGHT HAS SOME MINOR MICRO PITTING AND THE REAR RIM ALSO HAS SOME VERY MINOR PITTING. BUT OVERALL STILL VERY NICE. SEAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE. BATTERY IS LESS THAN 1 YEAR OLD. THE TAIL LIGHT HAS A CRACK IN IT. AND IT IS GOING TO NEED THE REAR MASTER CYLINDER SEALS REPLACED ( $12.00 KIT) OVERALL THIS BIKE IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RIDE IT ANYWHERE. NOTE THE SPEEDOMETER HAS BEEN REPLACED SO IT ONLY SHOWS 10,000 MI BUT THE BIKE HAS NO MORE THAN 13,000 ACT MI. LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSE AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. Both models are prototypes still undergoing testing and one is even disguised to look like its eventual rival, the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Both models are, in fact, slated to go up against Harley-Davidson models.
2014 Triumph Thunderbird Commander, Thunderbird LT Models Outted in CARB Documents
Tue, 15 Oct 2013An executive order released by the California Air Resources Board reveals two new additions to the Triumph Thunderbird cruiser lineup. Joining the base Thunderbird and the Thunderbird Storm (both of which have already received CARB certification for 2014) are two new versions, the Thunderbird LT and the Thunderbird Commander. According to the executive order, both new T-birds will be powered by a 1700cc engine designated as the ETDXC1.70KMM, the same engine family designation assigned to the parallel-twin engine powering the Thunderbird Storm.
