'Duchess' is a 2014 Triumph Bonneville T100. Add ons include a custom straight bar, custom handmade aluminum fairing, custom exhaust with wrapped pipes, a custom bobber seat pan upholstered in leather from a vintage bomber jacket, and a full custom paint scheme with matching helmet by J Daar Customs. It’s fuel injected, has stainless steel spokes, a six inch headlight and Karoo 3 Metzeler tires. We built Duchess as a showcase for how simple and easy it can be to make a custom bike that is unique, runs great, and turns heads as you ride by. FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
2012 Triumph Tiger 1050 and 1050SE – New Suspension, Handlebars and Colors
Tue, 27 Sep 2011Triumph announced some updates to its Tiger 1050 and Tiger 1050SE for 2012, though at the moment it appears only the SE version will be offered in the United States. The 2012 Triumph Tiger 1050 and the special edition version receive updated suspension with new damping settings for both the front and the rear as well as a stiffer rear shock. Triumph says the updates will provide a more controlled ride for both riding solo or with a passenger while brake diving is also reduced.
Intermot 2012: 2013 Triumph Street Triple, Street Triple R Revealed
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Triumph has redesigned its Street Triple for 2013, revealing the updated 675cc naked bikes at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. 2013 Triumph Street Triple and the slightly more up-spec Street Triple R receive an all-new chassis featuring aluminum beam twin-spar frames and two-piece die-cast rear subframes. According to Triumph, the new chassis optimizes agility and handling with fewer welds than the previous frame and helping reduce the overall wet weight by 13 pounds to 403 pounds.
