New Stuff: Bridgestone Battlax Racing R10s

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

...stickier than a Weatherspoons floor on a Friday night. Well that’s not exactly an official Bridgestone technical term but no matter which way you look at it the brand new Battlax Racing R10 tyre is a ‘Road legal’ Supersport/Superstock race tyre. It’s used as the control tyre for the Aprillia RRV450 race series.

Create My Triumph

Tue, 08 Mar 2011

As you would expect we rarely get a minute to ourselves at Visordown HQ but at lunch time we had a quick play with Triumph's virtual bike creator. You can choose your desired model and colour, then load it to the hilt with all the accessories your heart desires. At the end you can view your masterpiece, print or email it or save it as your desk top image.

The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
