Triumph Speed Triple description

2012 Triumph Speed Triple R, 2012 Triumph Speed Triple R, stunning condition, Arrow exhaust, 2,453 miles. The Speed Triple R is one mean machine! The hlins suspension front and rear (NIX30 forks and TTX36 rear shock) keep the forged aluminum wheels (0.7kg and 1kg lighter than stock front and rear) and Pirelli Super Corsa SP tires stuck to the road. And the Brembo monobloc four-piston radial calipers (with 5% more stopping power than stock) bring you back into compliance with the law in a hurry no matter how far out of compliance you were! This one is set up with the full Arrow 3-into-1 exhaust system, which shaves a nice chunk of weight, adds a juicy boost in power, and makes the bike sound like heaven! It also has the color-matched flyscreen to keep some of the wind blast off of you, and the passenger grab bar to give your significant other better odds of staying on the bike when the fun begins. It's in beautiful shape with only 2,453 miles. Call 312-878-8711.

Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.

The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run.  Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake.  Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump. Get the Flash Player to see this player. “Jump the Shark”, as per Phoghat’s request: Get the Flash Player to see this player.
