Triumph Sprint description

2006 Triumph Sprint ST has been, and continues to be my favorite bike ever owned. I am selling it to make way for a family vehicle and will most likely re-purchase this same exact bike later on. They extended the wheel base in later years which doesn't have quite the same handling as this bike. The only issue with it is a small part of the dash plastic came loose and is secured with double-sided velcro. The bike has heated grips which is very welcome in the winter and a trickle charge hookup. I have commuted on this bike for a couple years and it performs extremely well. Great acceleration at any speed and up to any speed. Solid handling and very strong braking if necessary. I will also include all of the accessories that I have for the bike: 1) Cover: Inexpensive soft cover [brand new] 2) Helmet: HJC, Large, Silver Metallic CL-MAX [good condition, added 3M reflective strip to back] 3) Jacket: Joe Rocket, Medium, Military Spec Mesh Jacket with fold-away safety Grey/Black [great condition] 4) Gloves: Power Trip, XL, Black, Grand National Gloves [good condition] 5) Boots: full riding black boots [these show wear on the top and where they zip up, but are still fully water proof and the sole is not worn]

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

For those who dream of speed, Bonneville is a must attend event. For six days, August 23–28, 2014, the collective eyes of speed freaks world-wide will be focused on the famed Utah salt flats as constructors and riders race for national and world records at the recently renamed Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials. Continuing the relationship the American Motorcyclist Associationmaintained over the past 10 years during the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials, the AMA will clock top-speed runs in every class of motorcycle, ranging from 50cc mini-bikes to high-dispacement streamliners.

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

The Triple's ready, three days early!

Wed, 24 Mar 2010

Mark Forsyth returned our Bonneville long termer today, and the Speed Triple was ready at the triumph factory to be brought back with him…three days early. Here’s a picture of it ‘wedged’ in the back of our new Ford Wildtrak. The bad news is, it won’t arrive at our London office until Friday, patience Andy, patience.
